Skoy Cloth Review and Giveaway-CLOSED

The Skoy cloth is a durable product due to the reusability factor and can last for months. Using a Skoy Cloth is equivalent to using 15 rolls of paper towels in an average home. The Skoy Cloth has an absortion rate of 15x it's own weight.

The Skoy cloth can be washed in your dishwasher or washing machine. It can also be microwaved to kill germs and eliminate any sour odor - the Skoy cloth must be wet to microwave (caution! It will be hot-remove with care).

Skoy is made up of two stay-at-home moms living in Encinitas, California. The Skoy factory handles it's resources carefully, by using renewable raw materials such as cellulose and cotton. The cloths are available in packs of 4 - Mixed Colors w/ Flower print, White w/ Flower Print and Mixed Colors with Inspirational Text. They also offer a subscription service of 8 cloths every 3 months. Skoy cloths can be purchased at various retailers, etailers and online.

I received a 4 pack of Mixed Colors with Flower Print (Purple, Pink, Green and Blue). The dry Skoy is a stiff square, smooth on the print side with a diamond texture on the back. When wet, if felt like a double thick Bounty paper towel.

I use tons of papertowels, and while I'm not the greenest person, I do try to conserve where I can. I'm really impressed with the Skoy cloth! We have a puggle, Phoenix, who loves to scoop up huge mouthfuls of water and spray it all over the kitchen floor. I would normally use a large handful of papertowels to wipe up his puddles, but used the Skoy cloth instead. It picked up large amounts at a time - when it quit picking up I just wrang it out and wiped again (Phoenix has a big mouth, so I can have a river of water before I catch him). It also worked great on minor pickups - wiping the table down after dinner, scrubbing the kitchen counter, and cleaning the stove top. I then decided to give one of the Skoy cloths a not-so-fair test - I used it to scrub the bathroom, something I wouldn't use papertowels to do. I didn't think it would hold up - but it did! No tearing, no crumbling. I even added insult to injury by immersing it in Scrubbing Bubbles. My Skoy is still in one piece and ready to be used again. I've run two Skoys through the dishwasher so far - they came out in one piece and smelled great.
