I had the chance to try the Cherry Blossoms - Flowers - Vinyl Wall Decal. I went with Glossy Black, as I thought it would be a nice contrast to the green in my kitchen. This decal looks fantastic! My kitchen has a built in booth, that is nestled into a small area with a large window that looks out onto our backyard. The bare wall between the ceiling and top of the window has been crying out for something since we moved in, and this is the perfect addition! The decal looks more like a painted on embellishment than a vinyl wall decal.
Dali Wall Decals are super easy to apply - I put the one up in the kitchen by myself (with Little Bit snapping photos). My decals came with a scraper (probably the wrong term, but it looks a lot like one of those little plastic pot scrapers) to help remove air bubbles.
Once I decided where I wanted my decal, I wiped the area thoroughly to remove any dust and let it dry. I then removed the hard paper backing, lightly pushed it to the wall, and stepped back to make sure I had it perfect. The next step was to rub the entire decal with my hand to adhere it to the wall, and then run over it w/ the scraper to remove any air bubbles. Last, I slowly peeled the transfer paper away. This decal has tiny dots around the flowers, and some of those did start to peel up. I just placed the transfer paper back over the area that wasn't sticking, and ran over it with the scraper again. The whole process took less than 10 minutes, and yet it looks like hours of effort :)
Dali Wall Decals included one Swirling Poppy in bright white, which was perfect for Little Bit's room. We recently redid her bedroom in an old Hollywood theme - purple walls, glossy black trim, elegant white furniture, and the Poppy was a perfect fit. Brit wanted the flower on the small wall next to her closet, close to the floor so it would look like it was growing up out of the floor. I turned her loose, and in about 2 minutes flat she had applied the flower herself.
I also received "We can't change the Wind, but we can Adjust the Sails" in a soft green. I haven't used this one yet - I'm saving it for the living room which will be painted in the spring.
