Ecoist makes the cutest wristlets, clutches, totes, satchels, totes, crossbodys and shoulder bags out of recycled materials (They also offer bracelets). Each purse is unique, and made with Fair Trade Manufacturing practice, and In partnership with Trees for the Future, Ecoist plants a tree for every handbag. It's a win-win-win product!

I received the Confetti Coin Purse to review - Perfect for carrying little stuff like keys, cards, and some cash, these pouches make the cutest eco-friendly gift. Each one of these purses uses 60 recycled candy wrappers ! This little bag packs a colorful punch, and holds a surprising amount of crud, um, I mean important stuff :) I love the look of this bag! It's amazingly crafted - I keep looking at it, and I can't figure out how they get all the pieces together! I also love that the confetti look continues on the inside of the bag, and it isn't hidden with a liner. I use this bag when I don't want to lug my suitcase sized purse around, and love that it's a cute conversation piece and is a bright splash of color against whatever I'm wearing. My daughter also uses the bag when she's out with friends, and it easily holds her Ipod, cell phone and cash.
