Happy (late) Thanksgiving!

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving - lots of family and great food :) I also survived Black Friday, which I was having my doubts of - we hit Menards at 6:30 and it was a zoo!

Today I'm using up most of my leftover turkey in one of my favorite chili recipes. The original calls for chicken breast, but turkey is super yummy too.

Chicken (Turkey) Chili:

Turkey - bite size pieces
Great Northern beans - 2 - 4 cans. Drained and thoroughly rinsed.
1 Onion - diced
1 can jalapenos, drained
Cumin - to taste
Salt and Pepper - to taste
Garlic - to taste
Dump into a crock pot, cover with chicken broth and simmer for 4 - 6 hours.

Serve with shredded Monterrey Jack cheese and crusty rolls :)
